We’re often invited to do TV, radio, newspaper, or online interviews or the things we say in shows are quoted in the media. We’ve also appeared in Parliament both by being mentioned by MPs and appearing before the Transport Select Committee. Here’s a selection of our appearances. Sky News appearance on February 15th

Times Radio interview on December 30th

Press Association interview on the King's Speech on November 7th

Richard was interviewed by the Press Association following the King’s Speech on November 7th. He commented on the slow speed of progress on GBR and said that time is of the essence now. The interview was used in stories across the media world, including: The Guardian, The Independent, Evening Standard, ITV, Partnerships Bulletin, Passenger Transport, Railway Magazine, Bracknell News, Rail News, The Irish News, Derbyshire Live and Birmingham Mail.

New Civil Engineer article on November 9th

Nigel was quoted in an article in New Civil Engineer about the Transport Select Committee on November 8th. In particular, it was his mention of the ‘over-engineering’ on the Great Western Railway that got picked up.

BBC Radio 4 Today on November 4th

Richard was invited to talk about the reduction in Avanti West Coast services on Saturdays because of engineering works and crew shortages. And Green Signals got a namecheck for the first time!

House of Commons Oral Answers to Questions on October 26th

Richard was name-checked in the Network North and HS2 Phase 2: Comparative Assessment by Iain Stewart MP (Chairman of the Transport Select Committee (Richard's unexpected knighthood was welcomed!).

Richard’s words on the Today programme were quoted in so many online media outlets, we couldn’t keep track of them all… Yahoo! News, Infrastructure Global, Kent Online, Business Comparison, Welwyn Hatfield Times. The Independent even wrote a whole article about what he said.

Richard’s interview with Radio 4 Today was subsequently quoted in The Times.

BBC Radio 4 Today on October 4th

Richard was invited to discuss the cancellation of HS2 Phase 2a, where he called the decision “very stupid”.

BBC News Online on September 26th
