I find podcasts a great way to catch up on events or analyse current trends... Green Signals is one of the best I've come across.

Mark Smith (the Man in Seat 61)
Mark first joined us in Episode 4 of Green Signals, where he talked in detail about the fares system and how it might be improved. It’s a fascinating listen if you want to really get your head around rail fares and ticketing in the UK. You can watch it on our YouTube channel here:
